People Escaping Poverty Project Elects
5 new Board Leaders at Annual Meeting


People Escaping Poverty Project held its 2003 Annual Membership Meeting on November 16th and elected a new slate of Board Leaders.

The new Board Leaders will serve 3 year terms and will lead PEPP into the new year.

PEPP Has existed as a 501-c-3 non-profit in Moorhead since 1986 and works in both Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding communities. PEPP’s main focus is to develop leadership of low income people, impact social policy issues and use Community Organizing for Social Change.

The newly elected Board Leaders are:
Kate Olson
Gwen Goos
Kristin Larson
Toby Yak
Haditza Asovic

Tammie Yak also serves on the Board and was elected during the summer of 2002.
