Minnesota Budget Cuts Hurt People
As we wait for our Elected Officials to step up to the plate and protect our community's core values, children, families and necessary community programs begin to suffer.

Uniting For Equality is collecting stories, data and documentation related to the Minnesota Budget cuts.

Groups are coming together to make the community's voice heard. A leader of the Moorhead Justice Circles made a very good plea recently by encouraging Minnesota's to speak out and be heard:

"We are not in favor of dismantling the good life that we and our neighbors have worked hard to put into place. We support a safe, just, prosperous, free, healthy society and are willing to pay for it...we don't want to be made fools of with budget cuts that destroy what we care about..." says Diane Wray Williams, Justice Circle Co-Conveiner.

Press Conferences, Town Hall Meetings, Legislative meetings and Media efforts are being planned and implemented in this community.  Stay tuned for dates, times and places.

Meanwhile, e-mail us your personal stories so we can add them to this page and our documentation.

Send them to ufe@pepp.org
